The film "Sully", directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Tom Hanks, will be shown Sat. Jan. 7th at 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
The movie is based on Capt. Sullenberger's autobiography, "Highest Duty", which recounted the Jan. 15, 2009 landing of his US Airways flight on the Hudson River. This film gives us the rest of the story from this amazing feat of aviation, which saved the lives of all 155 people aboard, through the NTSB investigation, which could have ruined Sully's reputation and career. A compelling and understated film, much like Eastwood himself, stay for the credits where there will be actual footage and interviews.
Admission is free but the movies aren't. Your donations are critical to keeping our annual movie series going.
