Michael Perry is a New York Times bestselling author, humorist, playwright, and radio show host from New Auburn, Wisconsin. With more than a dozen published works, his memoirs include Population 485, Truck: A Love Story, Coop, and Visiting Tom. His book exploring the work of the French philosopher and essayist Michel de Montaigne, Montaigne in Barn Boots, was published in 2017. His presentation on Wisconsin Small Town Life celebrates with humor, wonder and joy the life of growing up in a small town.
